One of the most stressful parts of hiring a lawyer is paying legal fees. To help alleviate that stress, our staff is willing and able to talk honestly with you about legal fees at any point during your search for a lawyer and for the duration of your case.
Our fees work differently in that we do not charge retainers or hourly fees. The type of fees you owe will depend largely on the type of legal help you need.

Flat Fees
Working sessions and non-contested cases are billed at a flat fee. This fee generally includes routine court costs like filing fees, service, and publication to make it as simple as possible for you. Flat fees are due in full at the start of your case.
Monthly Subscription
Pro se coaching and representation in litigation are billed on a monthly subscription. This includes regular meetings with a lawyer and all aspects of reaching a settlement. Subscriptions require that monthly fees be automatically charged to a credit or debit card.
Forms of Payment
We accept payments in the form of e-check/ACH transfer, certified check/money order, or credit/debit card. Payments can be made easily at our office or online through a client portal. You can use any combination of payment methods that works best for you. With your permission, third parties may also contact us to make payments on your behalf without receiving any information about your case.
Legal Insurance Networks & Employer Assistance Programs (EAPs)
Some employers provide legal insurance benefits to help cover the cost of legal fees. If your employer does not provide this benefit, then some of these coverage options are available for direct purchase by consumers. The Lien Law Firm is in-network with the following benefit plans:
